Over the last week, Motorola had been soak-testing Android Lollipop on both the new Moto X and new Moto G. The initial rollout seems to have proved successful, as now the OTA update is spreading further and wider across North America, with the rest of the world following shortly.
Android Lollipop brings a number of new additions to the omnipresent smartphone operating system, such as improved security features, better battery life, and the long-awaited "lock screen notifications". Head to Settings > About Phone > Software Update and see if your Moto G (2014) is ready for the update.
